HSE Superintendent (m/f)

Duties

• Management, Planning and development of SHE management systems
• Management of Audits of all Environmental and Risk Management Systems and Programmes
• Assessing, adapting, and implementing new technologies and industry best practices to the project’s SHE programs, while ensuring efficiency and sustainability
• Strategic planning and the development, maintenance and achievement of departmental targets with a focus on continual improvement
• On-going interaction with all stakeholders regarding all management and legal systems, issues and processes
• Develop capacities and skills within SHE Department and related management systems and issues
• Manage SHE Legal Compliance

Requisites

• A post graduate qualification in any of the disciplines of SHE Management
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in general risk assessment/ planning/ incident investigation and quality related systems and database management
• Preferably a Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a mining or industrial environment
• Working knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process and associated Environmental Management Plans
