Access Bank Namibia is recruiting a HR Business Partner, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Job grade: C4 (Patterson grading)
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and fostering a high-performance culture. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in enhancing employee engagement, developing talent, and ensuring the success of the bank’s people strategy
- The position reports to the Country Head: Human Resources
Duties
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and onboard top talent
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, ensuring positive workplace culture
- Support workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
- Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning, performance
management, and organizational development
- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive employee engagement,
productivity, and retention
- Support leadership in managing employee performance reviews, compensation planning, and succession planning
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee well-being, and
professional development
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to inform decision-making and optimize HR practices
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an HR generalist, with expertise in talent acquisition and employee relations, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and organizational
development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Valid drivers license
- Must be Namibian

- Skilled in resolving employee issues and fostering a positive work culture
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and solution-oriented
- Self starter
