Access Bank Namibia is recruiting a HR Business Partner, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Job grade: C4 (Patterson grading)
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and fostering a high-performance culture. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in enhancing employee engagement, developing talent, and ensuring the success of the bank’s people strategy
  • The position reports to the Country Head: Human Resources
Duties
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and onboard top talent
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, ensuring positive workplace culture
  • Support workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
  • Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention
  • Support leadership in managing employee performance reviews, compensation planning, and succession planning
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee well-being, and professional development
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to inform decision-making and optimize HR practices
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as an HR generalist, with expertise in talent acquisition and employee relations, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and organizational development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be Namibian
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Skilled in resolving employee issues and fostering a positive work culture
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making and solution-oriented
  • Self starter
