Sanlam is recruiting a HR Business Partner, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- The purpose of the job is to effectively deal with specified Human Resources functions for the Group. The successful applicant is responsible to delivering a wide range of HR services
- Responsiblities:
- Providing advisory and consultancy service to staff and management on a range of human resources issues, procedures and policies consistent with employee standards
- Coordination and add value to the recruitment process, including selection, appointment, induction and reporting
- Coordinating learning, training and development activities; identifies areas of training need and conducting development programs
- Coordinating and administering monthly payroll process
- Administer legislative/statutory requirements and duties (NAMRA, P.A.Y.E, NTA)
- Undertaking of special projects related to human resources
- Administer HR documentation and maintaining information related to employees
- Provide service and consultation to staff and management to develop and initiate positive change and improvement
- Performing administration tasks related to Human Resources
- Providing service and support to various HR functions including
- Performance management; Employment Equity/Affirmative Action strategies; Industrial relations strategies; etc
Requisites
- A degree in HR and minimum of 3 years working experience in HR environment
- Knowledge of SAP payroll system will be an added advantage
- Experience in the life insurance industry will be an added advantage
- Absolute proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office; Outlook
