Standard Bank is recruiting a Head, Product Management, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Maximize short and long term shareholder value by creating and implementing both a 3-year strategic product roadmap as well as an annual operating plan that will enable the business, from a product perspective, to exceed all financial and non-financial goals
- A key business partner to the TPS Head, Namibia for driving a fully integrated Sales, Product, Channel agenda
- Key leadership role requiring the recruitment and development of the next generation of product management in the country
Requisites
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce or any other business related qualification (NQF level 7). An Honours degree would be an added advantage
- Experience:
- Past experience managing a team and a P&L
- Experience managing through influence in a large organization
- Ideally 5-10 years of Product management experience
- Strong understanding of the Namibian market particularly as it relates to Transaction banking clients and activities
- Relevant client and/or geographical experience in the Africa region
- Past involvement with industry bodies such as BAFT/SWIFT etc.
- Minimum 15 years of working experience, with preferably 10 years in financial services
- Ideally gained experience working in/across multiple geographic locations

- High Familiarity with Corporate Bank and Global Markets product set
- Excellent Transaction Banking knowledge, market leading
