Head of Training (m/f)

Duties

• Purpose: To manage the efficient delivery of all Institutional Training at the VTC
• Management of Career Programs (e.g. workshop, classroom, apprentice scheme, and assessment)
• Quality assurance of Teaching and Learning
• Professional Development of VET Trainers
• Orientation Program
• Administration
• Curriculum development and Implementation and Staff Management

Requisites

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution (NQF Level 7)
• Seven (7) years relevant technical and industry experience of which three (3) years in a supervisory capacity
• A technical qualification will be an added advantage
• Other Competencies:
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Adult teaching and learning skills
• Management and organizational skills
• Negotiation skills
• Report writing and Computer literacy skills
