Head of Information Technology

Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing ICT governance, business continuity and risk management frameworks while ensuring the availability, stability, modernization and redundancy of all business systems
• The successful candidate will lead the IT desk, providing guidance and support to the team to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standards and is expected to have excellent communication, leadership skills and a customer-centric mindset
• The Head of IT is a critical position in ensuring the organization obtains and generates value from its ICT investments

Duties

• Ensure an ICT Governance Framework and policies for OPE that complies with relevant international standards and best practices
• Ensure implementation of an effective Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that identifies, implements, and updates all relevant disaster recovery control procedures
• Manage effective organisational redundancy strategy and restore procedures for all business systems and their optimal utilization thereof
• Manage data management systems and development of business intelligence for the organisation
• Lead enterprise digital transformation and digitalization strategy
• Manage and supervise desk's human resources

Requisites

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Professional certification in relevant areas such as COBIT 2019, CISSP, and ITIL as well as experience in ERP will be advantageous
• At least 5 years of experience in an IT leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing ICT governance frameworks, business continuity, and risk management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable in the latest industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and digital transformation
