Old Mutual is recruiting a Financial Analyst, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Assist with the day to day running of the Funds under management
- Obtain valuations and assist with the recalculating of valuations
- Assist with the obtaining of financial date
- Assist in creating said reporting (monthly, quarterly, as well as ad hoc)
- Assist with the accounting of financial information
- Assist, develop, build financial and related modeling
- Aid to document, implement, and supply financial good governance within processes
- Assist with internal processes and segregation of duties
- Assist with the auditors, whilst they are auditing the Funds under AI OMIGNAM
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- Accounting Business degree
- Broad understanding of the financial services industries
- A minimum of at least 5 years Investment Banking, Finance, Compliance, Business Analysis, Solution design, Risks & Project Management experience
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and a very good working knowledge of the other MS Office suite packages, with emphasis on Excel
- Able to facilitate & drive execution of assignments / projects
- Highly energetic with drive, proactive, positive thinking and enthusiastic
- Strong conceptual thinker
- Strong Project Management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Excellent Report writing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service levels
- Ability to work independently
- Strong team player
