FNB Namibia is recruiting a Field Service Engineer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To solve user queries and problems by providing specialist high-level technical advice pertaining to repairing and maintaining hardware and system software
Duties
- Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilization of work-related resources
- Manage system enhancements to improve efficiencies
- Resolve IT Help Desk Query and Fault incidents and develop new approaches in the light of changing business circumstances
- Provide second level standby and complex problem resolution by interfacing with vendor support to resolve complex application and system configurations
- Identify and utilize opportunities to assess and improve own performance
- Report on transactional and process activities within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making
- Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards
- Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialization
- Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards
Requisites
- Minimum Qualification - Degree or Diploma and the required Certification
- Preferred Qualification - Relevant Degree
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment
