Distell is recruiting a Field Sales Consultant (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve sales targets as per business plan
- Implement and increase awareness of the strategic focus drive initiatives
- Achieve set volume and value targets on strategic focus brands as well as “picture of success”
- Determine customer needs through analyzing customer information
- Increase sales coverage by identifying new sales prospects according to segmentation tool
- Sales force effectiveness process implemented successfully (3A's)
- Optimize all resources to achieve sales targets (People, processes, time, tools etc.) and resolve issues quickly
- Achieve Cold and Ambient space targets by brand category
- Build effective working relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders to achieve results
- Providing timeous feedback to team and internal customers on areas for improvement on efficiencies, competition activities or any burning issue requiring quick solutions and attention
- Support the Sales Consultant as and when needed
Requisites
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12
- A qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or related field will be advantageous
- At least 1 year FMCG sales and promotional experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office package)
- A valid driver’s license
- Good numerical and business skills, including excellent communication skills
- Result-driven self starting team player
- Good analytical skills and a sharp business acumen
- Must be willing to travel extensively and act independently
- High energy levels as the position involves working long, flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays as and when required
