FNB Namibia is recruiting a Fiduciary Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To lead, control, direct and develop the Fiduciary business in such a manner as to ensure maximum profits, whilst maintaining an efficient, technically sound customer service. Identify and develop new business to ensure future growth
- Develop a service culture, where the teams deliver exceptional client service through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
- Identify new business opportunities by marketing general power of Estate Business and Fiduciary (Wills, Trust and Estates) referrals
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the growth and sales strategy
- Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders and team members on Wills, Trusts and Estates
- Maximize business cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects/initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
- Plan and implement a cycle of medium-term improvements to drive strategic objectives of profitability and quality client service
- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business information, analyzing trends and data
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
- Manage own development to increase own competencies
Requisites
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification – BCom or LLB (preferable)
- An in-depth knowledge of the various laws and statutory requirements governing Trusts, Estate planning, Wills and the Administration of Estates
- General business, financial and accounting skills
- 3 – 5 years experience of which at least 1 at managerial level
