GIPF is recruiting an Executive: HR Assistant, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide high-level administration support services to the General Manager Human Resources and the Human Resources Department to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Department: Human Resources
- Reports to: GM: Human Resources
Duties
- Executive support and personal assistance
- Administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department
- Assist with the recruitment administration and filing services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Procurement services and budget expenditures
- Manage the Human Resources Department’s Information management filling system
- Project support and facilitation
Requisites
- Job-related qualifications and experience:
- 3 years Secretarial diploma/Diploma in Information Administration/Diploma in Office Management & Technology/ Diploma in Business Information & Administration (NQA Level 6)
- Minimum of two (2) years of working experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or in a similar supporting role to a Senior Executive
- Experience as an Administrator in a Human Resources Department will an added advantage
- The incumbent should have the following knowledge, skills, and Attributes:
- Knowledge of:
- Pension funds act and rules, administrative procedures and processes, budgeting, diary management, events coordination, filling system, organizational culture and structure, records management, stock control, and relevant policies, regulations and systems
- Skills
- Computer literacy, customer service, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, networking, organizing, coordination, planning, prioritizing and time management, telephone techniques
- Attributes
- Approachable, attentive to detail, assertive, diplomatic, discretionary, consciousness, calm disposition, confidentiality, customer services oriented, diligent, flexibility, handling pressure, helpful, team player and reliable
