FNB Namibia is recruiting a Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To analyze and manage work environments and procedures and inspect workplaces for adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act and International Organisation for Standards requirements to design programs that prevent disease or injury to employees and damage to the environment
Duties
- Ensure Environmental Health and Safety Business Processes are developed, implemented, reviewed, and updated for facilities
- Assess own performance through seeking timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
- Develop and implement facilities Environmental Health and Safety onsite requirements for contractors
- Develop and execute the facilities environmental health and safety monitoring plan and track compliance to standards
- Manage facilities risk assessment register to mitigate high risks and incidents within each building
Requisites
- Have a relevant diploma or degree
- fnbHave 5 year's experience in a similar environment with 2 – 3 years' experience in a position
