Duties

• Provide trusted nursing care to patients and clients of Welwitschia Hospital in accordance with the Scope of Practice of an Enrolled Nurse
• Perform and participate within delegated team and unit
• Take responsibility for own outputs and standards of care
• Contribute to a healing and safe environment by upholding Infection Control measures and Health & Safety standards within delegated unit

Requisites

• Enrolled Nurse and Midwife Qualification
• 3 Years’ experience in maternity and paediatrics
• Registered with the Nursing Board of Namibia as an Enrolled Nurse and Midwife
• Namibian Citizenship or eligible to work in Namibia
• Disposition towards quality and excellent patient care
• High energy levels and tolerance for stress
• Well-developed interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to perform within a team, organise effectively and operate optimally under pressure
• In-depth medical know-how
• Availability and willingness to work shifts and overtime in accordance with Company requirements
• Non-Negotiable Competencies:
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to naturally liaise with people from all walks of life
• Ability to work independently within a high-pressure environment
• Willingness to perform assigned or ad hoc duties as per operationally required
