Namib Poultry is recruiting a Driver: Bus and Truck (Processing Plant/Services), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To ensure the safe transportation of employees to and from the workplace
- Safe and timeous transporting of staff as per schedule
- Recordkeeping of Trip Details in Logbooks/on the checklist
- Adhering to the scheduled routes
- Reporting incidents to management
- Operating within the scope of company policies and procedures
- Driving safely and responsibly, by complying with road regulations
- Ensure the Roadworthiness of the Vehicle at all times
- Perform daily Vehicle inspections, keep clean, and basic maintenance checks
- Timeous reporting on deviations or faults as required
- Maintain prescribed Hygiene, Housekeeping, and Safety Standards
- Timeous reporting, recording and submitting of refuelling receipts (EDC)
- Carry out reasonable ad hoc tasks as given by the supervisor
Requisites
- Grade 10 (NQF 2) or Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Drivers Licence Code CE and/or C1
- Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience
- Namibian citizen
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be an advantage
- Able to work shifts, weekends, overtime, Sundays, and public holidays
