- Leading car rental company invites applications for the permanent role of Dispatcher to play a behind-the-scenes role that is key to on-time service delivery to customers. - The purpose of the position is to ensure correct and accurate controlling of all vehicles to and from the depot at all times
Duties
- Manage and improve effective and efficient vehicle turnaround
- Ensure company Assets and resources are safeguarded at all times
- Manage movements\capturing of all movements
- Communicate with branches on operational requirements
- Allocation of vehicles to correct locations
- Assist in supervision of the day-day operation\flow of the Depot
- Quality Control
Requisites
- Minimum Experience:
- 2 - 3 years previous dispatch logistical experience within car rental, logistics or fleet management experience
- Minimum Qualification:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent)
- Minimum Requirement:
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license
- Computer literacy – Intermediate MS excel
- Essential to Note: Given that the depot support business in terms of our availabity to customers and varying operational demands this presents, the appointed person will required candidate must be willing to work overtime/shifts/weekends when required
