Wecke & Voigts is recruiting a Dispatch: Assistant Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Main responsibility of Senior Sales Assistant is to provide a first-class customer experience for our clients
  • Must readily assist customers with the right product, product information, features and benefits
  • Drive maximization of sales through upselling
  • Must maintain stock rotation, merchandising, and pricing as per company standards
  • Operate cash register and process sales speedily, accurately and efficiently as per company standards
  • Do cash-ups according to company procedures
  • Must always adhere to general health and safety, cleaning, and dress code regulations
Duties
  • The role of an Assistant Dispatch Manager is to ensure the correct invoicing of product quantities, pack size and quality of all products on pallets before stock is loaded onto the trucks
  • Responsible for claims/refunds of delivery shortages and damaged products returned by client
  • Must control all third-party goods transported and ensure GRV processing for products received for lodges (alcohol and fresh produce)
  • Identify and minimize risks and ensure optimum capacity and functioning all within the regulations, policies, and processes of the business
Requisites
  • Education & Experience:
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Butchery Production
  • Minimum 3 years’ of Staff Management
  • Code B Driver's License
  • In the absence of required tertiary education, the following is required:
  • Grade 12
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Butchery Production
  • Minimum 3 years’ of Staff Management
  • Evidence of Administrative experience
  • Code B Driver's License
  • Literacy:
  • Excellent English comprehension
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems and programs
  • Basic knowledge of HR with further assistance available from HR representative
  • Numeric Literacy: basic calculations and knowledge of accounting principles.
