NAMDIA is recruiting a Diamond Sorter/Valuer X 2 (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To apply diamond sorting and valuation expertise to NAMDIA diamond product acquisitions and sales preparations in accordance with best qualitative and efficient practices, and leveraging process and expertise value in the process. To utilize various sorting and valuations techniques and methodology appropriate to varied samples of quality, size and shapes that are most suited to the NAMDIA approach to the processing at this “production” stage, also favouring and optimizing
the account management and sales approach down the line
- To use client and diamond batch profiling tools and approaches to optimally match the profile with actual product profile. To maintain specific client relations through engagement and communication, maintaining the client relationships qualitative data base for managing the relationship, planning and sales preparations. To participate in the NAMDIA KAM strategies and best practices developments in order to optimize the market and client model that NAMDIA pursues
Duties
- NAMDIA viewing and batch selection effectiveness
- Sorting and broad valuations process compliance integrity
- Special Diamonds Valuation Effectiveness
- Large diamonds (1,2 carats plus) valuation effectiveness
- Small to medium gem –quality diamonds valuation effectiveness (0.4 – 1.2 carats)- partially by sampling techniques)
- Client preference alignment of sorting effectiveness (profile match)
- Client relationship support effectiveness
- Client problem solving effectiveness
- Assistant in other areas relevant to diamonds sale Optimization
- Assistance in training and image building projects
Requisites
- Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Three (3) years diploma in sales and marketing
- NQF Level 6
- 4 years’ work experience in this area of operational expertise
