• Apply for the Diamond Award for Science and stand a chance to realize your dream of becoming a Science/Mathematics Teacher who can contribute to the development of the Namibian youth
• The Diamond Award for Science demonstrates Debmarine Namibia’s commitment to the development of the youth of Namibia in the field of Science, in support of the Vision 2030 goal of establishing Science as a key focus area for Namibia
• The Diamond Award for Science Teacher is a full scholarship awarded to a student to further his/her studies towards the attainment of a Bachelor of Education (with specialization in Science or Mathematics) at a tertiary institution
• The Diamond Award for Science Teacher will provide the successful recipient with a full bursary which covers costs related to tuition, study permits, medical, books, travel and accommodation
• The successful recipient will have no obligation to Debmarine Namibia after the completion of their studies, but is expected to apply acquired skills and knowledge in the field of Science Education in Namibia

Requisites

• To qualify, you must be a Namibian citizen and comply with the minimum entry requirements of the tertiary institution offering the programme above
• Students in their first year and second year are encouraged to apply
