FNB Namibia is recruiting a Credit Origination Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To evaluate business portfolios risk, makes final credit decisions on complex credit structures (mandate permitting), forms part of a credit committee for applications outside of delegated authority, interacts with other departments regarding credit strategy and credit growth areas, manages, coaches and mentors' team, drives the implementation and adaptation of new and revised credit policies
Duties
- Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and in terms of overall customer targets
- Implement improvements to minimize credit risk for the bank
- Evaluate and authorize without reference or overview credit proposals within limits of delegated authority
- Appraise the risk factor where excesses over arrangements within prescribed responsibility are reported and institute suitable action to protect the
- Group from exposure (adequate limit- and excess management)
Requisites
- Relevant Commercial Degree specializing in Credit
- 3- 5 years’ in a similar environment of which 1-2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
