Old Mutual is recruiting a Credit and Risk Analyst, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Identifying and monitoring of Credit related risks and all other risks which the Business is exposed to
- Perform Ad-hoc/Monthly/Quarterly credit related reporting to Management
- Analysing of Data in excel and other system applications
- Monitoring of the credit scoring and other predictive models to support Business in analysing the Business performance
- Ensure credit approvals comply with the relevant lending framework and applicable legislation
- Conducting in-depth credit assessments of new and existing employers
- Maintaining of Employer and Risk & Compliance databases
- Conduct Market intelligence & provide recommendation to the Management;Effective communication with internal stakeholders
- Provide support to the Credit, Operations, Collections & Sales Team
- Collaborate effectively to achieve personal and business wide results
- Performing of Ad-hoc Activities as instructed by Management.
Requisites
- Namibian Citizen
- Advanced Diploma in Banking, Finance & Credit and Office management Qualification
- Degree in Economics or Finance will be an advantage
- 3 - 4 years Banking, Credit or Finance experience
- Computer literate
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Above average numerical ability
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong team player
