Namdeb is recruiting a Corporate Affairs Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The Corporate Affairs manager contributes to the formulation and execution of the overall Namdeb brand strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying specialist expertise skills in implementing the overall Namdeb internal and external communication strategy contributing to ensuring a reputable Namdeb brand. Furthermore, the incumbent is expected to drive campaigns focused on transforming internal and external stakeholder perceptions, whilst positioning the company’s image
Requisites
- Post -graduate qualification in Communication, Public Relations or Human Sciences or any appropriate
degree linked to the relevant experience
- Ten (10) years post graduate experience of which four (4) should have been served at Management level
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and word processingApplication of graphic design packages and Project Management exposure would be advantageous
- Competencies:
- Proven leadership and track record of performance
- Ability to apply public relations skills across differentiated stakeholder groups and forums
- Strong inter-personal relations and ability to apply a creative mindset
- Demonstrated media relations and events management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office word and writing skills
- Ability to handle situations with diplomacy and understanding protocols
- Ability to deliver under pressure and to operate in an ambiguous environment
- Knowledge of sustainability principles
- Ability to maximize digital communication opportunities
