Nedbank is recruiting a Controller: Loans Administration, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide quality and accurate business administrative support services to internal and external stakeholders enabling Nedbank to achieve its business goals
Duties
- Lead the loan officers to optimally and successfully delivery of all functions and actions required
- Perform final review on FLEX with payment/disbursement/limit changes loaded before authorization
- Escalate any issues regarding FLEX payment information that is incorrect to loan officers to correct
- Perform the following authorizations not limited to Loans Account Opening in FLEX, Limit loading/changes in FLEX, E4-Law instructions, Lodgments, Invoice Payments, Bond – Financial Bonds, Transfer, Debit Orders and Disbursements
- Identification of key risks and mitigating controls in the business unit and ensure all risks are assessed
- Implement new processes and procedures as required by management
- Ensure that prescribed turnaround times of SLA’s are adhered to by Loan Officers
- Minimize risk by checking and validating activities/input according to policies and procedures
- Ensure accuracy by identifying and recording/correcting discrepancies timeously and report exceptions
- Any other adhoc duties
Requisites

- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Matric/Grade 12/National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification:
- Grade 12 (25 points) and a Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum Experience Level:
- Must have three (3) years banking experience
- Governance, risk and controls knowledge
- Knowledge of Flexcube System would be an advantage
