Description

- Primary Purpose of The Position: To ensure the optimal functioning of the Debtors department
Duties
- Ensure timeous collections of debtors
- Accurate payment and cost allocations as well as credit applications processing and vetting
- Performing ITC checks on customers
- Opening of new accounts
- Control and management of debtors age analysis
- Ensure good customer interaction with regards to queries, proof of deliveries, claims and general correspondence
- Manage credit limits of customers on approved limits
- Processing of debtors in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Timeous internal and external communication
- Timeous handover of bad debt to the attorneys
- Compile and submit management and/or other reports as required
- Credit notes for settlement discounts, rebates, price differences and promotional discounts
- Assist with any Adhoc functions/projects as prescribed by Supervisor/Manager
Requisites
- Grade 12 (NQF4)
- Eight (8) years’ debtors experience in FMCG industry
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends
- Computer literate with good mastering of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- AccPac experience will be advantageous
- Valid Namibian driver’s license
- Proficient in English
- Namibian citizen
