Description
- Temporary Fixed Term
- Provides support in achieving an efficient, affordable, equitable, safe and convenient mode of transport through daily monitoring and reporting of vehicles within the division
- To assist in the integration of different sections by continuous dissemination and management of data required on a daily basis
- To assist in the implementation of the new automated fare collection
Duties
- Monitoring the day to day operation of the public transport service
- Provide reports on incidents
- Maintain database, profile drivers and prepare periodic reports
- Act as point of contact between all the sections within the division
- Mapping bus lines and routes in order to feed into the system
- Analyze fuel usage
Requisites
- Bachelors of Geoformation Technology, (proficiency with GIS, Tracking systems, Data analysis, management and visualisation) with one (1) year previous bus operations management and routes monitoring experience and a valid code B drivers license
