Namibia Breweries is recruiting a Compliance Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To drive or change process compliance and champion change in attitude towards process compliance. To identify process control weaknesses, design and facilitate process improvements in order to identify areas of concern, provide input to develop corrective procedures and policies for the purpose of process improvements and process compliance
Duties
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Identify risks, conducts assessments, and develop risk mitigation plans
- Execute controls testing in accordance with the approved plan and report results thereof
- Perform Secretarial and administrative support for the Compliance function
- Coordinates the OTIF completion of controls review annual timetable with relevant department heads
- Develop annual audit plan in direct relation to risk
- Execute Compliance Risk Management Plans (CRMP's)and Self-Assessment Reviews
- Assist with drafting and facilitate the review of company policies and procedures
- Ensure that company licenses, permits and certificates are up to date and uploaded on the system
- Facilitate monthly controls sessions
Requisites
- Degree in Finance/Audit related with completed articles from an audit firm
- 5 years practical experience in the field of auditing, compliance, risk management and or financial control of which at least 2 years must have been at managerial level
