Sanlam is recruiting a Compliance Officer: Affluent Market (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- The operational planning, implementing and overseeing compliance-related functions. Facilitating, creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues. Coordinating and scheduling compliance training and act as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance issues to and from appropriate resources. To plan, implement, monitor, report and co-ordinate all compliance related duties to and for the relevant business units
Requisites
- Grade 12 and a law degree
- Post-graduate qualification in compliance and AML management would be an added advantage
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience in compliance environment
- Knowledge in relevant regulatory legislation and compliance
- Fluent in English
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer literate – this includes Microsoft Outlook , Excel, Word & PowerPoint
