Compliance Monitoring Manager (m/f)

Duties

• To contribute to the delivery of the FirstRand Group’s Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan by producing quality reviews, performing complex monitoring reviews, and providing advice and guidance to the business to achieve regulatory compliance
• Responsibilities:
• Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
• Ensure execution of compliance management strategies, plans and programmes
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
• Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
• Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organizational values and service standards

Requisites

• Minimum Qualification - Postgraduate Degree in a business-related discipline, Law, Legal, Risk or Compliance or Auditing
• Experience - 3 to 5 years experience compliance monitoring, auditing, or risk management in a financial services environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at juni
