Telecom is recruiting a Commercial Support Agent, in Keetmanshoop and Lüderitz, Namibia.
Description
  • A Commercial Support Agent is responsible for sales to Telecom Namibia’s existing and new customers for the Retail Segment
  • The holder of this position is one of TN’s direct customer interfaces
  • The Commercial Support Agent is responsible for selling Telecom Namibia’s products and services, receive and process applications and service requests, receive and process payments and resolve complaints and disputes in the Teleshop and assigned area
  • REPORTING TO: COMMERCIAL SUPERVISOR’S

Requisites
  • The required academic qualification must be considered together with the work experience in the respective area required to perform the job competently
  • Depending on Qualification:
  • Grade 12 with 2-3 years of experience in the sales and marketing of Telecommunication products and services
  • Diploma with focus on Sales/Marketing/Telecommunications with 1-2 years of experience in the sales and marketing of Telecommunication products and services
  • Basic experience and technical proficiency in communication technologies, high-tech products, and communication infrastructure, particularly focusing on telecommunications
  • Comprehensive understanding of products, services and market dynamics tailored to meet the needs of the regional customer base
  • Key Characteristics:
  • In-depth knowledge of Telecom Namibia’s products and services
  • Basic operational knowledge of Customer Relation Management, Accounting and Billing Systems
  • Good operational knowledge about complaints/query/dispute resolution process
  • Good knowledge on competitors’ offerings
  • Basic understanding of products, services, and technologies from a technical perspective. Knowledge of relevant Telecom Namibia’s standards and guidelines
  • Very good understanding of Telecom Namibia’s sales processes within the Retail segment sales context
