Old Mutual is recruiting a Client Service Consultant, to be based in Omuthiya, Namibia.
Description
  • This role assists clients telephonically or face to face, in accordance with business, process and compliance rules
  • The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. This role requires less product and process knowledge than the Senior Consultant role
Duties
  • Providing quality service and client care
  • Providing product and portfolio information to customers
  • Processing benefit payments
  • Administering client information
  • Retain business and generation of sales leads
  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality
  • Make increased contributions by broadening individual skills
  • Performing general office functions
  • Handling all general queries
  • Living the company values
  • Handle all queries in adherence with procedural and quality standards
Requisites
  • Namibian Citizenship
  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 25 points
  • A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Approximately 1 – 2 years customer service experience
  • Experience in the local vernacular will be an added benefit
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, solid administrative skills, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Customer focus and the ability to work with different personality types
  • Well organized, attention to detail and self-starter
  • Excellent Client-Care skills
  • Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are essential
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining a professional image
