Old Mutual is recruiting a Client Service Consultant, to be based in Omuthiya, Namibia.
Description
- This role assists clients telephonically or face to face, in accordance with business, process and compliance rules
- The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. This role requires less product and process knowledge than the Senior Consultant role
Duties
- Providing quality service and client care
- Providing product and portfolio information to customers
- Processing benefit payments
- Administering client information
- Retain business and generation of sales leads
- Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality
- Make increased contributions by broadening individual skills
- Performing general office functions
- Handling all general queries
- Living the company values
- Handle all queries in adherence with procedural and quality standards
Requisites
- Namibian Citizenship
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 25 points
- A tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Approximately 1 – 2 years customer service experience
- Experience in the local vernacular will be an added benefit
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening
- Ability to multi-task, solid administrative skills, set priorities and manage time effectively
- Customer focus and the ability to work with different personality types
- Well organized, attention to detail and self-starter
- Excellent Client-Care skills
- Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint are essential
- Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining a professional image
