City of Windhoek is recruiting a CAD/GIS Operator (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To amend, compile, capture, draw plans using CAD, GIS
- Key Performance Areas:
- Amend, compile, draw plans (road, structures or storm water) using CAD and or by hand as required by an Engineer/Technician
- Capture, update, amend information on GIS system
- Assist in filing and indexing of plans
- Investigate Fitness certificates/renewals
Requisites
- Qualification Requirement: Grade 12 Certificate
- Experience Requirement: A minimum of five (5) years job related experience
- Legal Requirement: Code B/BE Driver’s license
- Pre-Appointment Training: CAD Draughting or CAD Software Training
- Knowledge: Computer, Autocad, GIS, Engineering terminology, basic maths and basic word/excel
- Skills: Computer and training updates
