Agra is recruiting a Buyers, to be based in Karibib/Tsumeb, Namibia.
Description
  • The successful incumbents will be based in Karibib or Tsumeb and report to the Branch Manager
Duties
  • Planning and forecasting of stock
  • Ordering of stock as per reordering schedule, or special circumstances/ requests
  • Managing price changes
  • Offering product advice to customers and staff members
  • Management of promotions and specials
  • All related administration of stock (e.g. GOB process, correct prices, transport costs and mark-ups)
  • Creating quotations / orders as per customer requests
  • Proactively assists in the management of stock losses
  • Conducts and assists in cycle counts
Requisites
  • Namibian citizenship
  • A Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years retail related experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Must be computer literate (MS Office package with specific regard to MS Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
