Agra is recruiting a Buyers, to be based in Karibib/Tsumeb, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbents will be based in Karibib or Tsumeb and report to the Branch Manager
Duties
- Planning and forecasting of stock
- Ordering of stock as per reordering schedule, or special circumstances/ requests
- Managing price changes
- Offering product advice to customers and staff members
- Management of promotions and specials
- All related administration of stock (e.g. GOB process, correct prices, transport costs and mark-ups)
- Creating quotations / orders as per customer requests
- Proactively assists in the management of stock losses
- Conducts and assists in cycle counts
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years retail related experience
- A valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in English
- Must be computer literate (MS Office package with specific regard to MS Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
