Afrox is recruiting a Buyer, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The purpose of this position is to ensure that supply chain management initiatives are implemented and managed with regard to procurement activities
- This position will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager Region Africa
Duties
- Ensure compliance with the Procurement Policy
- Accurately convert Purchase Requisition into Purchase Orders
- Follow up on Purchase Confirmations with suppliers and transporters
- Maintaining and administering the item master
- Maintaining and administering vendor details and contracts
Requisites
- Matric Certificate with at least 23 points
- At least 3 years of relevant/applied experience
- Must be computer literate
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or a relevant degree will be an added advantage
- SAP knowledge and experience will be an added advantage

- Good administration skills
