Hartlief is hiring a Business Process Analyst, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Design, develop, and maintain adequate and effective business process governing documents (policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, work instructions, forms, templates) and controls throughout the Hartlief Group to optimize business performance and drive efficiencies
Duties
- Develop and maintain the Process Model Master List of governing documents
- Effectively monitor and report on progress on the Process Model Master List and the creation of the documents listed thereon, against deadlines
- In collaboration with the process owners and process champions, develop, compile, maintain and continuously improve governing documents to create effective, efficient and compliant procedures that are appropriate and best fit for the business
- Provide guidance and professional advice to process owners and process champions to identify and analyse core business processes and workflows, including governing policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, work instructions, forms, templates
- Facilitate workshops with process owners and process champions to revise all business process governing documents on a cyclical basis
- Critically evaluate all business process governing documents to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements to be made by the process owner
- In consultation with internal and external stakeholders, ensure that business process governing documents are compliant with industry standards, safety regulations, regulatory requirements and company policies
- Review business process governing documents and maintain desired document quality standards and structure uniformity
- Research and investigate the feasibility of implementing the latest business best practices and technological developments to automate and streamline processes to help business perform more efficiently
- Document and maintain all change control records and exercise version control over all business process governing documents on the Process Model repository
- Control access and permissions to the Process Model as the Site Owner
- Partake in specific projects from time to time (e.g. expansions, new equipment installations etc.)
- Provide input into training manuals and work instructions
- Provide input on areas that need focus according to training outcomes and use this as a relationship/networking opportunity with internal stakeholders
Requisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in business management, operations management, manufacturing management or internal auditing; or B.Tech in Industrial or Production Engineering or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes
- Advanced understanding of inherent risks and internal controls
- Exceptional ability to document policies, frameworks, standards, procedures, work instructions, forms and templates
- Knowledge of process automation and information systems
- Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written
- Report writing
- Intermediately skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio, Teams, Sharepoint (Site Owner)
- Exceptional collaborator
- Proactively manages tasks and projects, demonstrating a self-guided approach to work, while fostering teamwork and collaboration
- The below will be advantageous:
- 5 years’ relevant process analysis experience OR 5 years’ experience in business process mapping and business process reengineering.
- Abaserve and SAP experience or understanding
- Understanding of Meat Processing will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO management system standards
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and Legislation
