Namcor is recruiting a Business Partner OD & Wellness TEMP (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • The job of the Business Partner: OD & Wellness is responsible for the provision of an effective organizational development and job evaluation support service and implementing and administering a comprehensive health and wellness strategy for NAMCOR employees and their dependents
  • This position is also responsible for the delivery of health services, support, and education that will enhance employee’s motivation and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle in a caring manner
  • To support the implementation of OD & Wellness policies, procedures, and systems at all times in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency with the Human Capital Department
Duties
  • Plans, develops, and assists with the implementation of organizational development inter-ventions designed to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Rationalizes departmental organizational structures and job design in liaison with line management, using the principles of sound organizational design and Paterson method of job evaluation (include manpower planning, structural design, job analysis, succession planning and career pathing)
  • Plans, develops, and assists with the implementation of organizational development inter-ventions designed to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Rationalizes departmental organizational structures and job design in liaison with line management, using the principles of sound organizational design and Paterson method of job evaluation (include manpower planning, structural design, job analysis, succession planning and career pathing)
  • Conducts a job analysis through conducting desktop studies, research and interviewing incumbents or managers in new jobs
  • Writes job descriptions ensuring it accurately reflects the nature of the job to ensure accurate job grades
  • Evaluates and grades all jobs taking all factors into consideration (unless instructed to ensure Consultant grade the jobs)
  • Co-ordinates the maintenance of a central file of updated job descriptions for the areas under control
  • Provides and manages the wellness program: This includes emphasis on preventative care, early detection, and identification of issues, and referral and feedback systems
  • Provides training to the staff and management as it relates to health and wellness and healthy lifestyles
  • Promotes effective use of material and resources. Directs and monitors health service expenditures to comply with established contract and budget
Requisites
  • Bachelors’ Degree (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management /Business Administration
  • At least 5 years HR Generalist experience with minimum 2 years OD experience
