Old Mutual is recruiting a Business Analyst, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Ensure that work is performed according to specific service and quality standards and does not deviate from standard procedures
- Analyses business trends, process efficiencies, competitor innovation and process best practice
- Assist with implementation of various changes to product and process; and creates and present solutions in required format
- Performs profitability studies on business processes
- Assists in preparation of risk and control matrices
- Deliver elements of audit assignments timely and in accordance with business methodology
- Develops client relationships at appropriate level
- Manage compliance to FI, client identification and record keeping
- Action customer queries, reload Workflow, follow up and provide feedback to client services, branches, or forensics
- Execute and lead operational activities of projects
- Drive customer communication alignment
- Action customer complaints logged on complaints system
- Set up arrangements with Retail Mass Foundation, OMSTA, and local support services and coordinate SLA Dashboard feedback
Requisites
- Namibian Citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) i.e., Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Compliance
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 25 points
- At least 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining a professional image
- Good planning, organizing and time-management skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
- Strong focus on attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- A clean criminal and credit check
