Welwitschia Hospital is recruiting a Brand & Marketing Manager, in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
  • We are looking for a Brand & Marketing Manager who has a combination of skills and competencies that will enable them to successfully develop and implement the brand and marketing strategy. These include strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, solid leadership and team management skills, and deep knowledge of brand management and digital marketing
  • We are looking for someone with analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, together with well-developed project management skills to manage multiple projects at once. You’ll be naturally curious and have a good understanding of consumer behaviour and market research techniques, as well as knowledge of the industry, competitive, and local landscape
  • You’ll be someone with great attention to detail and the ability to ensure consistency across all brand materials and delivery. You’ll also have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to naturally build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the creativity and ability to develop new and innovative marketing campaigns
  • We want someone who is a comment section reader and deeply understands market sentiment and the value of what we say and how we say it. You’ll be an expert in marketing concepts and have experience using thought leadership and value-first content to establish trust and generate conversions. You’ll have robust knowledge from understanding patient’s journeys and personas to tailored messaging, SEO & SEM, PPC, design, social media, mailers, websites, copywriting, and lead generation
  • We also need someone who is tech-savvy and a team player that is willing to step out of their role or go the extra mile to support the team. One team, one dream! On the converse, you’ll also be a self-starter and can work independently with little direction, while constantly seeking opportunities to excel & go beyond the expected

Duties
  • The Brand and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a brand and marketing strategy, managing the brand identity, increasing brand awareness and loyalty, driving revenue growth through effective marketing campaigns, and building a positive reputation for all Erongo Medical Group entities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing, implementing and managing the brand’s overall strategy, including the brand’s positioning, messaging, and communication plan
  • Developing and managing the budget for brand and marketing initiatives
  • Managing the brand identity and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Developing and maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring they are followed by all stakeholders
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Overseeing the development of digital marketing initiatives, including website development and management, email marketing, and social media engagement
  • Guide the creative development of all brand and marketing materials, including advertising, promotions, public relations, and direct marketing
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, and managing the coordination of public relations efforts
  • Managing relationships with external partners, such as advertising and PR agencies
  • Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and making data-driven decisions to optimize performance
  • Conducting market research to stay informed about the competitive landscape and consumer trends
  • Identifying new opportunities to grow the brand and increase market share
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and positioning of the brand
  • Managing and mentoring team members to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the brand strategy
Requisites
  • Honours Degree in Business, Marketing or similar
  • Postgraduate training in Brand Management, Digital Marketing or Psychology will be well regarded
  • 5+ years of digital and/or brand marketing experience, including creating marketing content, structuring & executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, generating leads, reporting on results, and making improvements to improve future outcomes
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to express complex ideas simply and concisely
  • Proficiency in any other Namibian language will be an added advantage
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence (Code B)
  • Namibian Citizenship
