Wecke & Voigts is recruiting a Brand Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The role of the Brand Manager is to assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and sales growth within the Wecke & Voigts portfolio of brands
- The position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities (spoken, written and digital), strong time management, problem solving skills and a passion for marketing in the FMCG retail industry
Duties
- Develop and implement marketing strategy
- Develop brand value proposition for each store
- Ensure brand consistency according to Spar guidelines
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Manage social media platforms and/or digital marketing agency
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and use insights for future marketing campaigns
- Manage budgets to support branding development plan
- Maintain relationships with company stakeholders
Requisites
- Minimum level of Education: Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Brand Management role
- In the absence of tertiary education, the following is required:
- Minimum level of Education: Grade 12
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Brand Management role
- Literacy:
- Exceptional interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy: Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Numeric Literacy: Able to understand and interpret figures/budgets
- Sound knowledge of digital/online marketing skills
