- Purpose of the position:
- The primary purpose of this position is to assist road users in completing relevant documentation, ensure correct levies are paid for relevant vehicles, receive and verify payment and to provide a service to road users
Duties
- Verify the information on Cross Border Charges (CBC) application forms for CBC and Mass Distance Charges (MDC) (foreign registered vehicles) customers
- Provide foreign registered road users with information on RFA payments and procedures
- Issue CBC permits to foreign registered road users as per RFA policy and procedures
- Perform cash up and reconciliation procedures with Supervisor
- Customer service
Requisites
- Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 (with a minimum of 20 points)
- Experience and Special Knowledge Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant working experience
- Customer service, logistics and transport will be an advantage
- Good numerical and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Honesty and integrity
