Barista (SUPERSPAR MAERUA)

Duties

• Main duties are preparing beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, etc.) and serving orders according to customer preference
• Barista is responsible for the handling of all money transactions, card payments and knowledge of the P.O.S. system for cashing up
• Must use and maintain the coffee machines and equipment properly
• Must serve all customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide customers with a first-class customer experience
• Must ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy whilst always adhering to general health and safety, cleaning, and dress code regulations

Requisites

• Education & Experience:
• Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• Computer Literate
• 2 years’ experience as barista or in similar position
• Literacy:
• Good English comprehension (speak, write, read)
• Basic numeracy and skills and calculations
