GIPF is recruiting an Assistant Accountant: Accounts Payable, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To perform supporting accounting duties in the major accounting areas ranging from transaction processing, and reconciliation to analysis to reports
  • Reports to: Accountant: Accounts Payable
  • Department: Finance and Administration
Duties
  • A degree in accounting
  • Three (3) years accounting experience (accounts payable) NQF Level 7
  • Knowledge of:
  • Accounting software, admin and banking procedures, creditors system, corporate governance, financial accounting, financial systems, payroll administration, pension fund rules and regulations, reconciliation, systems procedures, transaction processing and GAAP
  • Skills:
  • Accounting, administration, analytical, customer user service detail problem solving, evaluation, feedback, financial, integrative thinking ability, interpersonal, listening, logical reasoning, planning, presentation, project management, reconciliation, report writing, time management and written and oral communication
  • Attributes:
  • Assertive, calm disposition, detail consciousness, confidentiality, consistence, constructive, figures oriented, helpful, focused, independent worker and thinker, meeting deadlines, objectivity, patience, performance driven, reliable, results oriented, self stater, stress management, systematic and transparent
