FNB Namibia is recruiting an Accountant, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Analyze financial reports as well as interpret the current and projected company financial position Co-ordinate the budget process and variance reporting by making use of predictive modelling
- Prepare reports and financial statements in line with accounting practices
Duties
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands and deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand
- Perform financial analysis and planning to ensure accurate financial data against budget
Requisites
- Relevant Financial Management / Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
- Have 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment of which 1 – 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
