Namibia Dairies is recruiting a Tetra Pak Operator, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To assist the Technical Production Operator in performing packaging integrity test, weight checks, replenishing the machine feeder with the required packaging material, conduct COP, sampling under the guidance of the Tetra Operator as per Namibia Dairies Quality standards. Operating of Downstream equipment and UHT Processing equipment
Key Acountabilities:
- Check that CIP and COP has been done on the machine according to operating manual
- Sanitise/ sterilise machine
- Prepare packaging material according to the daily production plan
- Set up printers according to procedures with correct Best before dates
- Print production dates at the back of production data sheet for verification to ensure correctness of best before date
- Coordinate with Processing Operators and Team Leader the availability of products according to the production plan
- Transfer product to filling machine as per operating manual
- Start Machine and sample products for lab release as per operating manual and work instructions
- Verify that scale is available, calibrated and in a working condition
- Operate machine as outlined in the Tetra Pak operator manual
- Submit daily production records to Team Leader Packaging
- Keep record of maintenance schedules and machine care
- Perform correct fault-finding activities, assist in investigate and report to Team Leader Packaging and/or Engineering Department
Requisites
- Grade 12
- 2 Years’ experience in a Packaging Production environment
