Management Accountant (m/f)

Duties

• Responsible for managing the budget process to ensure that deadline targets are met
• Compilation of the Budget based on information collected from departments / third parties
• Obtain information on financial assumptions for a particular financial year (e.g. exchange rates, fuel prices, inflation rates, trend of wage negotiation settlements or expansion of operations)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts report
• Analysis of specific key GL accounts
• Maintaining forecast file with actual results and preparing financial forecasts
• Prepare monthly Cost Presentation

Requisites

• A recognized tertiary qualification in accounting, CA/CIMA qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience, covering the full spectrum of the financial environment (preferably in the Mining Industry)
• Proven analytical problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Package with previous experience in ERP accounting systems
