FNB Namibia is recruiting a Strategy and Business Development Manager (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To drive the growth of the business in partnership with the relevant executive/manager and leadership teams in the business, by assisting to shape and deliver on strategy, project manage various strategic activities, and ensure delivery of the manager/function’s key objectives
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Keep the relevant executive or manager informed of various activities within and outside the group and assist with documentation and reports
- Identification of relevant trends and emerging issues to inform proactive decision-making and strategy formulation
- Achievement of strategic and project objectives
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Identify and utilize opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets
Requisites
- Minimum Qualification - Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Commerce or relevant qualification
- Preferred Qualification - MBA
- Experience - 3 - 5 year’s relevant experience of which 2 years must preferably be in financial services
