FNB Namibia is recruiting a Transactional Banking Sales Lead, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide direction and leadership in the identification and implementation of new discretionary product house offerings
- To formulate tactical strategy and associated delivery plans for the Commercial Segment to ensure sustainable growth of the business
- To provide support in the attainment of the new business and the retention of existing business as part of the sales retention and acquisition strategy
Duties
- Continually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements by managing enterprise risk management and compliance
- Achieve market share growth by optimizing revenue opportunities through existing clients or by acquiring new clients
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy
- Give insights into the development of new products and enhancements to existing products in line with changing market dynamics and evolving client needs
- Create end-to-end value propositions that include current and new product and solution sets, pricing, service and channel delivery model that meet current and anticipated future client needs
Requisites
- Are a holder of a postgraduate qualification in Finance / Economics / Business Management
- Have 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years at management level with direct reports within financial services
- Have an in-depth understanding/knowledge of transactional banking, cash management and payment products and solutions
- Have the ability to keep up with industry trends, regulatory changes, and the evolving needs of businesses to stay competitive in offering relevant products
- Have the ability to match the right banking products to client needs, ensuring that businesses are able to optimize their operations with tailored transactional solutions
- Have a strong ability to identify new business opportunities, prospecting new clients, and closing deals
- Skills in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiating contracts, and cross-selling/up-selling various banking services to maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new business clients
- Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills and comfortable working with senior management
