Agra is recruiting an Administrative Officer: Auctions, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based in Windhoek
Duties
- Administration of records (e.g. auction or customer records)
- Maintenance of records and updating of information
- Assists in debtor and creditor management
- Correspondence with customers, agents and staff members
- Manages consumables for the regional office
- Facilitates the ordering of ear tags
- Administration related to transactions and accounts
- Liaison with Agra’s finance department
- Administrative preparation of auctions
- Capturing of all agreed aspects of activities at auction (before, during and after the auction)
- Assists in branding at the auction
- Maintains contact with buyers and sellers during the auction
- Liaises with veterinary services
- Functions as a receptionist and switchboard operator
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- A Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in administration, auctions or related field is preferred
- Must have a passion for the brand and customer
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy
- Proficient in English (written & spoken)
- A valid driver’s license
