Wecke & Voigts is recruiting a Group Butchery Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- The role of the Group Butchery Manager is to oversee butchery department operations across all stores, pertaining to procurement, stock control and production
- Group Butchery Manager must effectively plan, control and monitor the performance of stock to ensure that it operates at an optimal level
- Position also requires monitoring of sales and GP targets as well as controlling merchandising, ranging and pricing of products. Role also requires the management of staff
Requisites
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification/ Fleischermeister
- 6 Years’ managerial experience in the Retail Industry
- 6 Years’ meat production experience
- 6 Years’ blockman experience
- In the absence of required tertiary education:
- Grade 12
- 10 Years’ managerial experience within the Retail Industry
- 10 Years’ meat production experience
- 6 Years’ blockman experience
- Literacy:
- Excellent English comprehension
- Knowledge of computer operating systems and programmes
- Basic knowledge of HR with further assistance available from HR representative
- Numeric Literacy: advanced calculations and proficiency in accounting principles
