Nedbank is recruiting a Manager: Facilities, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide superior client service through regulated processes and procedures and deliver team results through enabling others
- To maintain Nedbank properties in excellent condition to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment
Duties
- Manage all Nedbank Namibia Holdings Properties in terms of:
- Maintenance and upkeeping of all Facilities/Real Estate assets – Furniture,Electrical, Water and cooling and Building structures
- Manage Suppliers and Service level agreements
- Manage Internal Facilities Support Teams (Maintenance, Drivers, Post room)
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX spend against allocated budget. (Approve all expenses on systems)
- Manage rent-out properties:
- Finding tenants for vacant properties and manage lease i.t.o maintenance obligation
- Assist with site viewings and lease agreement negotiations
- Assist with Lessor interior construction projects
- Manage Campus Building Management System:
- Pro-active monitoring and advise on preventative maintenance
- Assist with supplier management i.t.o. support calls
- Manage property revamps/improvements and new branches in terms of:
- Assist with site assessments, Architect, QS, business w.r.t. branch layouts ,internal and Group stakeholders
- Responsible for final completion acceptance and manage project budget
Requisites:
- People Specification:
- Excellent communication skills needed for internal and external stakeholder engagements
- Strong hands-on building and maintenance skills
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure
- Strong administration skills
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Facility Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Property management with 2-3 years in a supervisor position
- Excellent Computer skills
- SLA Management would be an added advantage
- Architectural and QS skills would be an added advantage
- ARIBA/SAP skills will be an added advantage
- Drivers license minimum Code B
