FNB Namibia is recruiting a Private Banker UHNW, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To proactively acquire new high nett worth clients and develop, maintain and expand the client portfolio through providing holistic and appropriate solutions to meet client needs
Duties
- Build and nurture strong relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients, many of whom are decision-makers, business leaders, and highly influential in Namibia’s business world
- Provide bespoke financial solutions tailored to the sophisticated needs of UHNW individuals, ensuring FNB remains their primary banking partner
- Drive business growth and profitability by managing a high-value client portfolio, acquiring new clients, and collaborating strategically with the business segment
- Navigate and manage the complexities of working with both resident and non-resident clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and offering tailored solutions
- Leverage your extensive knowledge of investments, credit, risk, finance, and wealth management to deliver value-driven and client-centric outcomes
- Act as a trusted banker, delivering exceptional customer experiences while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base with profitable clients
- Compile and present detailed reports to guide informed business decisions and align with FNB’s growth objectives
- Demonstrate leadership and communication skills, effectively managing client portfolios while mentoring and guiding team members
- Travel flexibly and independently to meet the demands of high-value clients, maintaining a client-centric approach at all times
- Analyze client needs and product offerings to develop tailored strategies that reduce the cost of capital, increase transactional revenue, and achieve revenue and profit growth
- Stay customer-focused while managing risks within your area of responsibility and driving strategic business growth
- Communicate effectively, work independently, and take personal accountability for success while maintaining strong management and follow-up skills to ensure operational efficiency
Requisites
- Have a relevant industry qualification or Commerce degree
- Have a Degree in Economics, Finance, or Investments Management. Post Graduate Dip Financial Planning / CFP will be an advantage
- Have 5 to 7 years relevant client-facing experience, with a strong background in investments, corporate finance and Private banking
- Possess strong knowledge of credit, risk management, compliance, and wealth management products and services
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have your own transport (essential)
- Are experienced in navigating the dynamics of working with self-employed and business leader clients, understanding their unique needs and decision-making processes
