Description
- To lead and direct the strategic activities of a Water Supply Business Unit, in accordance with legislation, corporate policies, goals and strategic objectives directed by the Chief Operations Officer
- Assists in the development of organizational strategy, policies, operational objectives, personnel, financial performance and growth of the business in general

Duties
- Manage financial planning of the Business Unit
- Manage Business Unit as a profit centre
- Management of BU Procurement
- Financial strategy
- Establish strategic partnerships in the water sector
- Customer and stakeholder relationship management in region
- Compliance with Corporate Governance and Risk and Safety Legislation
- Internal Service Level Agreement
- Planning of BU operations
- Management of sustainability of water resources
- Maximization of efficiency and effectiveness of water supply operations
- Management of water quality
- Management of BU water sales
- Management of BU asset
- Disaster Management
Requisites
- Minimum Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Engineering/Science/Commerce related to the Water Industry – NQF Level 8
- 10 years’ experience in Water Supply environment, of which 4 years should be at first line Management (Managerial) Level
- Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice / Equivalent – NQF Level 8
- Driver’s License Code B
